Re-work of the day

We are so in love with this beautiful re-worked silk blouse! Here at A La Mode we love our shirts over-sized but often that means a poor fit on the sleeves. Problem solved! Our in-house sewing team have chopped the sleeves and made them look 80's cool in a bat wing style - perfectly complimenting the unique lion print. Add an extra edge to this shirt with leather leggings, killer heels and piles of gold jewels for a night out, or team with skinny jeans and white trainers for 80's androgynous chic. Remember, this is a vintage re-work so only one available!

Style icon Sunday - Cara Delevigne

Yeah, we know she's everywhere right now, but we still can't get enough of Cara Delevigne's laid back 90's style that's packed full of attitude. Here at A La Mode we've caught the bug and have rails full of Cara-esque vintage beauties. Think vintage denim, 90's grunge style dresses, off the wall t-shirts and customised hats.

We think Cara would look amazing in our denim baseball caps customised with large fake flowers. Festival perfection.

This week, we're loving the hand made raffia earrings over at the blog P.S I made this ... . Looking extremly similar to the Dolce & Gabbana beauties (yes, that really is the price for a pair of earrings), we couldn't help but get excited with this great DIY.
